This is a REAL STORY 6 August 2005
Do you believe in miracles? I do, and I will
tell you why.
For a long time we went daily to an open field,
there we saw all the time some swallowtails.
They are seldom in wildlife at the moment, so I
want to try to catch them. But they are really
fast,
and if they land on a flower and you come near
they will fly away. We went there again, my
hubby and I,
just for check if they where around. But we saw
nothing, so we searching for other insects.
I saw a dragonfly, and I was concentrated with
that. Later my hubby said to me, psssstttt look
at behind you there he is !!
So I turned my body and yes, the swallowtail
again.
I thought maybe it is the one we saw a week ago
with broken wings, but this one was perfect !!
I followed him, but he flew so fast, all the
time in circles, and high in the sky.
Then a moment I thought he would land on a
plant, but NO WAY!!
He flew away all the time if I came near.
Then my thought where by my brother, he past
away almost 5 years ago.
And I talked with him in myself and asked him:
Come on "Frits" give me a sign that you see me
from heaven and land on a flower,
and give me some time to make some nice shots.
After a few minutes there he flutter again, and
he landed on a flower.
I saw all from a distance, and walked very slow
to come near. I thought he would fly away again,
but he still sit on that plant !!!
I kneel, and made some shots, but it was very
windy. He didn't use his tongue for suck the
nectar.
So most of the time they will fly away if they
don't use the tongue. The best way was hold the
plant with my other hand,
but I thought he will fly away if I do that.
There was no other way, so I did. And you don't
believe it, he keeps still.
He just watch me right in my face and I start to
talk with my "miracle butty".
My heart filled with love, because it could be a
sign from my brother. I pull of the flower with
the swallowtail on it,
he keeps still, and made some shots in different
poses, and I was so happy and proud inside.
But my display showed me "card full" and I was
so "mad" because my other card was in my
backpack!! And my hubby carry my backpack on his shoulder. But
the butty just look at me, and my hubby brought
me the new card,
and I put it in the cam, and in my other hand
the flower and he still sit on that flower.
Gosh, it's unbelievable,
and I was so close to that butty. My heart is
filled with love now,
it's a real MIRACLE that after such a long time
we saw him sooooo close !
My hubby made some shots from a distance with
his camera and I still talked to that butty.
I want to give him a kiss. And I did. This 6
August 2005 will be a special day, I can tell
you.
We walked together back to the car, and he was
still on that flower I said you can fly away
now, you did your work !
And then he flew away very fast again. He was
not wounded, I checked that out. Now I can tell,
I believe in miracles !!!
This is a real story, and I am very proud of
it.....
